Self-esteem and self-confidence are usually linked together but are not the same thing. Your
self-esteem is your self-worth, how much you like yourself? How you look at yourself? How
you speak to yourself? Where as your confidence is how we feel about your ability to perform tasks and your roles in life. Confidence is about trusting and being secure in your own qualities and abilities to get on and get the job in hand done. If you are lacking in self-esteem and or confidence this can have a knock on effect from your mental health, relationships, to work life.
How are you with taking compliments? As soon as one comes your way do you bat it away? What comes up for you when you are about to try something new? Can you list me 3 things that you love about yourself? Do you underestimate yourself? Do you feel worthy?
Having a healthy self-esteem and confidence is so important in order to live a balanced and happy life, in order to be confident to take on what ever comes your way in life, by trusting that you are always able to do your best, and that your best is perfectly enough. Without this you could find yourself living a life being constantly put down by your own critique inner voice, it could be holding you back from living at your true potential to go out into the world to live the life you are truly destined for. I want you, to take stock of how you talk to yourself, and I wanted you to ask yourself would you talk like this to your friends? The answer is probably no.
